I was one of 15 local artists that were selected to paint a cactus showcasing one or more of the 5 C’s of Arizona’s Economy: Cattle, Cotton, Climate, Copper and Citrus.

Mine represented all 5, as intertwined swirls that represented how each one affected and supported the other. The exhibit took place in Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and lasted all throughout the month of March of 2022.

At the end of it, all cacti were auctioned and sold during Scottsdale’s Artrageous Gala, benefitting Scottsdale Arts.
